    Fancy a ride by night on a worldwide ski run? In Madonna di Campiglio you can do it! The legendary "Canalone Miramonti" slope is on request.


    The run, where the most popular skiing world champions raced the Alpine Skiing World Cup, can be yours for one night or for a group of friends.


    You just need to book it 48 h in advance for a minimum of 2 hours. The cost is € 360,00 per hour (+ VAT 22%).

    • The Official Tourism Board supports the winter sports athletes 

       

      They are six, they practice winter sports (Alpine skiing, snowboarding and short track), they are supported for the season 2016/17 by the Madonna di Campiglio Pinzolo Val Rendena Tourist Board. Their names?

      For the third consecutive year, the Tourism Board lines up a group of young athletes at the starting blocks of the international circuits in the disciplines of the alpine ski, snowboard and short track. Six athletes that are ambassadors in the world of the resort Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo-Val Rendena: four of them were born in the western Trentino, two of them has chosen this area for their training.

       

      Alberto Maffei (snowboard) and Paolo Pangrazzi (ski) are from Madonna di Campiglio, Cecilia Maffei (short track) is from Pinzolo while Laura Pirovano (ski) is from Mortaso-Spiazzo Rendena. Andrea Ballerin (ski) is from Trento while Vladislav Khadarin, one of the most talented snowboarder in the world, is from Siberia, but he has been living in Madonna di Campiglio for 4 years, where he trains with the Freestyle Ski Accademy. He is 19 years old and he is part of the Russia National Team: he has been the first athlete in the world in realizing a Fs 1800. Cecilia Maffei, already an expert in the Italian National Short Track Team, is working for gaining a result in the Olympic Games 2018 in South Corea. For her it could be her fourth participation.


      Alberto Maffei, like Laura Pirovano, is at his first season in the World Cup with the Italian ski team and their are growing challenging together with the biggest world champions. The slalom and giant specialist Andrea Ballerin is competing in the World Cup with the Italian team, while the sprinter Paolo Pangrazzi is going on with their carrier racing in the World Cup and European Cup. In the combined race of Wengen (January 13, 2017) he was the best Italian, gaining the thirteenth place.

       

      Champions, professional athletes, rising stars that compete in the Italian and international races in their sports disciplines: Khadarin, on January 7, 2017, made his debut in the World Cup in Moscow and won the big air; Laura Pirovano, on March 12, 2017, won the juniores world title in the giant slalom after a very great sports season, always in the first ten in all the races. Cecilia Maffei won the European gold medal in the short track relay race and the silver medal in the World Cup in Dresda. Alberto Maffei won the gold medal in the Kronplatz Air and in the Slopestyle of the Italian Championships.

      Andrea Ballerin: 28 years old, from Trento, is s slalom and giant slalom racer. Italian athlete, he races in Europa Cup and in the World Cup, where he debuts in the first 30 in the slalom of Levi (November 13, 2016) and sixth in the second giant slalom in Val d’Isère for the alpine skiiing Europa Cup 2016/2017. Silver in the giant for the Italian Championships.

      Vladislav Khadarin: 19 years old, national champion 2015/2016 in Slopestyle, third in the Italian Championships Big Air, he belongs to the Russian Team and he won the Big Air World Cup in Moscow. He finishes successfully the season 2016-17, getting the 17th place in the FIS Snowboard Big Air World Championships and the 16th for the Slopestyle.

      Alberto Maffei: 21 years old, from Madonna di Campiglio, belongs to the Italian slopestyle Snowboard -team A. Last year he won the silver medal in the Europa Cup, both for Slopestyle and Big Air. In Plan de Corones, he got the first place in the important event Kronplatz Air and the gold medal in the Slopestyle of the Italian Championships. He closes his first season in the World Cup with 11 starts and 2 other starts in the Snowboard World Championships.

      Cecilia Maffei: 32 year old, from Pinzolo, short track speed champion 500m, 1.000m, 1.500m and relay race. Three Olympic Games with the Italian National Team, two golds in the Italian relay race in the World Cup 2015-2016 and third for the European. Gold medal in the relay race at the European championships Torino 2017 and silver in the fifth stage of the World Cup season 2016/17.

      Paolo Pangrazzi: 29 years old, from Madonna di Campiglio, Alpine skiing champion for downhill, Super-G and super-combined disciplines. Best result in 2011 (6th in the Garmisch World Championships), in 2013 he won the national title of downhill skiing. In the 2014-2015 season he got the third place for the European Cup - Men's Super Combined. He finishes his racing career with the winter season 2016-17.

      Laura Pirovano: 20 years, from Spiazzo Rendena, polyvalent Alpine skiing champion, on December 28, 2015 debuted in the World Cup in the Lienz giant. Closed the season as third in the general placement of the European Cup and fifth in that one of giant slalom, that was valid for a place in the World Cup for the season 2016-2017. During the season 2016-17 she won the juniores giant world championships and the combined in the Italian Championships.

       

       

    • Sedicesima edizione del "Good Buy Trentino" a Madonna di Campiglio dedicata all'estate 2018. Al workshop che si è tenuto al rifugio Stoppani, nella spettacolare cornice delle Dolomiti di Brenta, erano presenti 66 buyers da 21 paesi e ben 190 operatori trentini.


      Il turismo trentino archivia l'ottima performance dei primi mesi estivi, con crescite che in alcune località sono risultate a doppia cifra, e si proietta già sulla prossima stagione estiva 2018.


      A Madonna di Campiglio, nella cornice del rifugio Stoppani a Passo Grostè, un balcone sulle Dolomiti di Brenta dove si coglie all'istante la bellezza e il fascino della montagna, si sono ritrovati gli operatori italiani e stranieri della domanda e quelli trentini dell'offerta per il 16° "Good Buy Trentino" (Gbt), un momento di incontri business to business finalizzati alla commercializzazione dell'estate 2018, organizzato da Trentino Marketing in collaborazione con l'Apt Madonna di Campiglio Pinzolo Val Rendena.


      La scelta degli operatori invitati a questa edizione del Gbt ha seguito la strategia promozionale di internazionalizzazione di Trentino Marketing a partire da un’attenta selezione di tour operator specializzati sulle motivazioni di vacanza prese in esame. In particolare i settori della vacanza attiva, MICE e Incentive, oltre a quelli più generalisti, cercando un raccordo diretto con la proposta dei diversi territori con riferimento all'estate 2018.


      Sono 66 i buyer provenienti da 21 paesi, e tra questi 5 extraeuropei - Brasile, Cina, India, Corea e Stati Uniti - che oggi sono saliti fino ai 2400 metri del Rifugio Stoppani per la giornata di workshop nel corso del quale hanno potuto incontrare le 105 realtà "seller" presenti con circa 190 rappresentanti, vale a dire Apt, Consorzi, strutture ricettive, Tour operator, Agenzie di viaggi e Società impianti provenienti da tutti gli ambiti turistici, oltre ai rappresentanti dell'Aeroporto di Verona.


      "Nelle sedici edizioni di "Good Buy Trentino" - afferma Maurizio Rossini Ceo di Trentino Marketing - non era mai stato registrato un numero così elevato di presenze, un segnale evidente che il sistema turistico provinciale guarda con fiducia al futuro, confortato dai risultati incassati nel corso dell'estate frutto anche delle scelte strategiche sempre più condivise tra tutti gli attori, pubblici e privati e che guardano sempre più ai mercati esteri anche di lungo raggio".


      E al Trentino guardano con sempre maggiore interesse anche i buyer di paesi extraeuropei come Chiara Park, un Tour Operator venuto dalla Corea, che dichiara. "Nel mio paese conoscono bene le grandi città d'arte italiane, ma ora vogliono andare alla scoperta di nuove località e luoghi suggestivi. E qui nelle Dolomiti trentine c' è proprio quello che loro cercano, c'è soprattutto la natura, ma anche il buon cibo".


      "Siamo particolarmente contenti di questa giornata - afferma invece Giancarlo Cescatti direttore commerciale dell'Apt di Madonna di Campiglio Pinzolo Val Rendena - e ho già potuto raccogliere ottimi feed back da diversi buyer intervenuti. Davvero azzeccata poi la scelta della location, per far provare in maniera diretta l'emozione delle nostre montagne e del nostro ambiente agli operatori esteri che una volta a casa si trasformeranno in ambasciatori del nostro territorio".


      Domani, la seconda giornata di Good Buy Trentino sarà interamente dedicata ad una serie di eductour condotti da guide specializzate riservati ai buyer e aventi per tema diverse esperienze di vacanza attiva nella natura: Bike easy lungo la ciclabile della Val Rendena con la e-bike; Mountain Bike advanced nella zona di Pinzolo e del Bike Park; Hiking easy, escursione al Lago di Nambino; Hiking advanced, escursione al lago delle Malghette e ancora la novità del Fly Fishing, la pesca a mosca (con tecnica catch and release) sul Lago di Nambino insieme alle "Trentino Fishing Guides", le guide della pesca di recente introduzione. Ogni eductour si concluderà con una visita a delle strutture ricettive del comprensorio. Non sono mancate le occasioni in cui gli ospiti hanno potuto apprezzare l'ospitalità trentina e i momenti conviviali dove hanno toccato con mano i caratteri dell'italianità, a tavola ma non solo.

      • widening of Spinale Diretta (n.73) and Genziana (n.45) ski runs and development of the snowmaking system on the slopes
      • Malghette chairlift: a new modern 4 seats chairlift will allow a comfortable and faster connection between Madonna di Campiglio and Folgarida Marilleva ski resorts (time 4 minutes and 6 seconds).

      Great novelty in Spinale area: the new Chalet Spinale Fiat mountain hutwill open in the winter 2017-18. Modern, stylish, with a keen eye on environmental sustainability, the new chalet will be ready for this winter season.

      Dolomite rock, wood and a whole lot of glass for a luxury hotel, restaurant and bar with a breathtaking view, the new building will have 7 suites, for a total capacity of 18 guests, as well as a small wellness center and a reading room.

      Absolutely a luxury and stylish experience not-to-be-missed; with a view towards sustainability and respect for the environment, in an extraordinary natural contest: on one hand the Brenta Dolomites Unesco World Heritage, and on the other hand the Presanella and Adamello group.


      Ready for the last part of the 2016-17 winter season, the pretty new toboggan slope will surprise those who want to have fun on the snow also for this winter!  3 km of pure fun, starting from 2.070 m down to 1.730 m, with a difference in altitude of 340 m.  With a medium gradient of 12%, and a maximum of 18%, the breathtaking descent is full of snow!



      News from Pinzolo:


      Some developments and innovations will be made in Pinzolo too to make skiing more attractive and exciting. The children area in Prà Rodont zone will be enlarged, the beginners' area will have new easy jumps for the enthusiasts of freestyle. And for those keen on surfing the snow, a little boardercross area will be created in the Grual zone.
      Funivie Pinzolo strongly supported these developments to promote the Val Rendena Family District, increasing the local family-friendly facilities.
